Everything you need to know about how we handle your data and the rules that govern your use of FastMe.

Last updated: May 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to FastMe (https://fastme.io), including our WordPress plugin, dashboard, and all related services. By using FastMe, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a FastMe account we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you sign up through Google OAuth, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Billing Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your full credit card number. We only retain the last four digits of your card, card brand, and billing name as provided by Stripe after a successful transaction.

WordPress Site Data

When you activate the FastMe plugin on a WordPress site, the plugin sends your license key and domain name to our servers to validate the license. We do not access, read, or store your WordPress database content, posts, users, or passwords.

Usage & Analytics

We collect anonymised usage data such as which dashboard features you interact with, error logs, and performance metrics. This data does not include personal information and is used solely to improve the product.

Log Data

Our servers automatically record standard log data when you access FastMe: IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. Logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate FastMe, including Stripe (payment processing), AWS / DigitalOcean (cloud hosting), and email delivery providers.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of FastMe, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers

If FastMe is acquired, merged, or substantially restructured, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Cookies & Tracking

Essential Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your dashboard preferences. These cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. We do not use Google Analytics or other invasive tracking scripts on the FastMe dashboard.

Third-Party Cookies

Stripe may set cookies on the checkout page for fraud detection. These are governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

Active Accounts

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the service.

After Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription your account and associated data remain accessible for 30 days in case you wish to reactivate. After 30 days, your personal data is permanently deleted from our production systems.

Billing Records

We are required to retain billing and invoice records for a minimum of 7 years to comply with financial regulations.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data is encrypted using TLS. Passwords are stored using industry-standard bcrypt hashing. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel protected by multi-factor authentication.
