Uninstall and Cleanup

If you decide to remove FastMe:

  1. Disable aggressive settings first if the site is under active troubleshooting.

  2. Purge FastMe cache.

  3. Clear CDN and server caches.

  4. Deactivate the plugin.

  5. Delete the plugin from WordPress if you no longer need it.

After uninstalling, also check:

  • whether old cache layers outside WordPress still need clearing

  • whether the CDN still serves old optimized assets

  • whether browser cache is holding old files during testing

Do not manually delete random folders unless you know exactly what they are. If cleanup is needed beyond the normal uninstall flow, handle it carefully and preferably after a backup.
